Eltor Consults, a distinct value-adding consultancy has launched the maiden Customer Choice Awards to improve customer care service in both Government and private business settings by giving customers the opportunity to share experiences.

Mr Etornam James Flolu, the Managing Director of Eltor Consults and a Customer Experience Coach said the awards aimed at using a friendly approach to cause a positive change in the customer care service delivery in the country.

He said there was the need for a total overhauling of the customer service provided in the country by most Government and private institutions, which was key to building a good corporate reputation and business success.

Voting for the award category commenced on September 14 and is expected to elapse after four months, which will then pave way for the awarding of deserving winners after customers had expressed their experience with various business entities.

Customers ought to download the “SpeakUpp App” to enable them to share both positive and negative customer experience with any of the listed companies or Agencies as well some personalities in the award categorisations.

Mr Flolu said customers who participated actively would be awarded fortnightly with special treats through to the end of the fourth months where any high participating customer could win an educational scholarship and another winning an all-expense paid trip to any African country of choice or Dubai.

He urged all Customers of the listed company, and agencies to download the ‘SpeakUpp App’ on Google Play store and contribute towards improving on the customer care delivery in the country.

The categories are grouped into twenty from all sectors including, The Customer’s Bank of the Year, The Customer’s Oil Marketing Company of the Year, Fans Artist of the Year, and The Customer’s Hotel of the Year.

Others are, The Customer’s Shopping Mart of the Year, The Customer’s Waakye Joint of the Year, The Customer’s Continental Food Joint of the Year, The Customer’s Pizza Joint of the Year, The Customer’s Pub of the Year, and The Customer’s Chop Bar of the Year – Traditional Eatery.

The rest are, The Customer’s Government Agency of the Year, The Customer’s Beer of the Year, The Customer’s Hospital of the Year, The Customer’s Digital Payment Platform, The Customer’s Media House of the Year, The Customer’s Media Personality of the Year, The Customer’s Beauty and Grooming Salon of the Year, The Customer’s Transport Choice of the Year, and The Customer’s Event of the Year.
