Accra, Oct. 18, GNA - A 600-cedi gain by Fan Milk Limited helped the Accra bourse to recover after several days of poor performance following visible lack of interest by investors.
The GSE All-Share index, the main stock index, went up by 5.28 points at 7,002.06 points.
FML, which has seen a persistent good form for the past few weeks, ended trading at 19,600 cedis. The other gainer on the day was CFAO, which was eight cedis better at 170 cedis.
Total number of shares that changed hands ended lower at 57,500 cedis fro Friday's 178,100 shares. Market capitalisation closed higher at 97,208.68 billion cedis from 97,195.02 billion cedis from 3,425.70 million issued shares.
Change for the year was 97.05 per cent.
