First Capital Plus (FCP) has been named as the 10th highest ranked company at the recent Ghana Club 100 Awards. As per the rankings, FCP is the highest performing company in the Banking and Savings & Loans industry in the country.
The Ghana Club 100 (GC 100) was launched in 1998 by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) as an annual compilation of the top 100 companies in Ghana to give due recognition to successful enterprise building and corporate excellence. Companies making it into the GC 100 are to serve as role models for the private sector and provide a forum for corporate Ghana to interact with the government at a high level.
Mr. John Kofi Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of the company said: "We are delighted to be part of Ghana's top performing companies and surprised at being the 10th best performing company for the year 2012. We are grateful to our staff, customers and stakeholders for making it possible."

We also believe that being recognized as the best performer amongst the banking and savings & loans companies for the year 2012 is phenomenal and we will strive to consistently deliver value to our customers."

Sources indicate that the company is set to launch operations as a fully fledged universal bank by the close of the year. First Capital Plus has posted phenomenal growth rates and in September, 2013 the company was also adjudged the non-bank financial institution of the year 2012 by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana in recognition of First Capital Plus’ orientation to marketing & technological innovation, investment in Corporate Social Responsibility and strong financial performance.
