Forever Construction & Consultancy has launched its affordable housing project to help reduce the country’s housing deficit.
The two-bedroom semi-detached houses located at Tsokpoli – Agortor is close to the New Airport area in Accra.
Launching the project, the Works and Housing Minister, Samuel Atta Akyea said government has secured litigation-free land banks across the country to support private companies ready to go into affordable housing.
He added that tax incentive packages are also available to help provide some financial cushion.
The minister has also revealed that government will blacklist any local firm that partners it and indulge in shoddy jobs.
According to the Minister, they are going to be strict on government’s policy to resort to local contractors before considering the foreign ones. It will, however, hold the local contractors to strict ethics and standards to ensure they execute good jobs.
Forever Construction & Consultancy are targeting Public Servants, Unions and Welfare groups for their affordable housing.
It has partnered Republic Bank for mortgage facilities for interested persons.
The company used the event to celebrate its 10 years anniversary.
