Former First Capital Plus CEO honoured

The former Chief Executive officer of First Capital Plus Bank has been awarded a Doctor of Business Administration, Finance degree by the Swiss Management Centre University in Switzerland.

His graduation followed his successful defence of his dissertation titled: “Crisis Management in Banking Industry: Analysis of the Ghanaian Banks.

The Award ceremony was held in Columbus Ohio in the United States of America.

Dr Kofi Mensah started the course in 2013.

Dr John Kofi Mensah holds an MSc. degree in Banking and Finance from FINAFRICA in Milan, Italy and a BA degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon.

He has over twenty-six years’ experience within the banking industry with special expertise in Treasury Management, Credit Management, Foreign Operations and nurturing new and distressed banks and financial institutions.

Before joining First Capital Plus, he was the Deputy Managing Director of UniBank Ghana Limited responsible for the day to day management of the bank’s operations.

Prior to joining UniBank he worked at International Commercial Bank as the General Manager/Deputy CEO and supervised the organic growth of the bank. He has also worked with the erstwhile Bank for Housing and Construction and the Securities Discount Company Limited.
