Fuel prices drop to GH¢12.99 per litre of petrol

Fuel prices have begun to reduce as the second pricing window for September this year has commenced.

Some Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have started to adjust prices of petroleum products downwards from Monday September 16, 2024, across various pumps.

For instance, state-owned GOIL is currently selling petrol at GH¢12.99 from GH¢14.16 per litre in the first pricing window.

For the price of diesel, the market leader is selling a litre at GH¢14.49 from its previous price of GH¢14.70.

Star Oil has also reduced the price of petrol per litre to sell at GH¢12.55 from the previous price of GH¢13.65.

Additionally, the OMC is selling diesel for GH¢13.85 per litre from its old price of GH¢14.02.

At some selected pumps across the country, Star Oil is running promotions, selling a litre of petrol at GH¢13.27 while diesel is going for GH¢13.31.
