Fuel prices have begun increasing after seeing some reductions in the last four pricing windows.

Following the commencement of the first pricing window for October 2024, fuel prices have seen some marginal increases.

Shell sold petrol for GH¢13.49 per litre in the second pricing window of September but is currently selling for GH¢13.79.

Diesel which was also previously sold at GH¢13.99 per litre is now selling at GH¢14.35.

Meanwhile, some OMCs, including GOIL and Total, are yet to state their new prices.

Rising tensions in the Middle East has been predicted to have an effect on petroleum prices.

The price of refined petroleum products such as petrol has also increased by 1.09%, while that of diesel has declined by 1.67%.

Currently, the cedi is still depreciating against the dollar to sell at almost GH¢17.00.
