GCB continues to sustain Accra bourse

Accra, Dec. 20, GNA - Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) made another 10-cedi gain on Monday, as it kept alive the bourse in quiet trading. The Ghana Stock Exchange All-Share Index, the main stock index, went up by 0.63 points to 6,780.66 points from Friday's close of 6,780.03 points.

Total number of shares traded was down to 205,200 shares from Friday's 555,300 shares.

Change for the year was up marginally at 90.82 per cent from 90.80 per cent, while market capitalisation ended higher at 96,950.06 billion cedis from 96,948.41 billion cedis.

GCB's 10-cedi gain put its share price at 10,100 cedis.
