GES ALL-Share continued its gains

Accra, Oct. 31, GNA - The GES All Index, the bench mark of the Accra bourse gained 3.52 points to close the week on Friday at 2,899.03 points from 2,895.51 points.

Total shares traded increased more than six times from 67,300 shares to 428,400 shares. Produce Buying Company (PBC) sold the highest shares of 375,400 shares.

Change in the year to date ended at 107.77 per cent.

In all, there were six price changes, all positive.

Mobil Oil Ghana Limited (MOGL) gained the highest of 100 cedis to close at 24,500 cedis; Social Security Bank (SSB) gained 98 cedis to close at 16,000 cedis. Unilever Ghana gained five cedis to close at 10,505 cedis; Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) and Guinness Ghana limited gained four cedis each to close at 6,006 cedis and 4,655 cedis respectively. The lowest, one cedi was British American Tobacco (BAT) to close at 2,903.

Market capitalisation was up at 10,951.03 billion cedis.
