GN Life Assurance Company, a member of Groupe Nduom, has paid an insurance claim to a customer who lost her mother at the Kumasi Central Market prior to the burial.

An elated Madam Josephine Boakyewaa, who had had the policy for less than a year, was paid the claim of Gh¢3,000 a week after the death of her mother.

Madam Boakyewaa told the media she had been a customer of GN Bank but was advised by one of the workers to take a policy for her mother which she did.

She said immediately the money was paid into her account, she informed her friends at the market and within days, about 60 of them, had taken policies and opened accounts with the bank as well.

Affirming the company’s commitment to adding value to the lives of their clients, GN Life Assurance Sales Manager for the Middle Zone, Mr. Felix Bruce, told the media that immediately his outfit verified the death, the amount was paid into Madam Boakyewaa’s account in less than 24 hours.

He explained that one of the core values of GN Life Assurance was to carry out activities to delight its customers, adding that “No wonder after the payment, over 60 of her colleagues have taken up various insurance policies.”
