Accra, Sept 18, GNA - The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) on Thursday announced the reduction of prices of its petroleum products with effect from September 19, 2003.
"We wish to inform you that with effect from September 19th, 2003, the ex-pump prices of Super, Kerosene and Diesel are reduced by 5.44 cedis per litre for super and 5.89 cedis per litre for Kerosene and Diesel."
A letter signed by Mr Yaw Agyemang-Duah, Managing Director of GOIL, said the new ex-pump prices at all GOIL stations are Super 4,439 cedis per litre, Kerosene 3,883 cedis per litre and Diesel 3,883 cedis per litre.
The statement said the company has put in place measures to inform the general public through adverts and press statements and also on the prices displayed on boards at GOIL stations.
GOIL said "the price reduction is in line with our policy of sharing the good things in our business with our customers."
