GOtv launches raffle campaign

The Management of GOtv Ghana Limited has launched a promotion to reward its subscribers, at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra, dubbed the “GOtv GYE WO DIE3 PROMO”.

The nationwide promotion is being held with the National Lotteries (NLA) on the Caritas Lottery Platform. Hisense, Airtel Money, BUKA Restaurant and Master Alarms, are the sponsors.

Addressing the media, Mr. Kingsley Afful, Business Manager of GOtv Ghana Limited, said in the next few weeks, but new and existing subscribers would win GOtv brand souvenirs, Hisense LED TVs, tablets and many more prizes.

“There will also be five exciting mini- draws across the country that will enable GOtv subscribers to be rewarded for their loyalty,” he said

Mr. Afful explained that the process of the promotion required a new customer to purchase a decoder, pay for two months subscription, and then text the IUC number to 0262611127, in order to enter the draw.

However, existing subscribers would only have to pay for three months' subscription before they could text their IUC numbers.

The Business Manager said that anyone who purchased the decoder would be awarded instantly with branded gifts.

But the grand draw would be held at the end of the promotion, which has a brand new saloon car as the ultimate prize.

Mr. Cecil Sunkwa-Mills, Managing Director of GOtv Ghana Limited, said: “The company seeks to thrill its subscribers, who come on board this festive season and reward them with various prizes for their loyalty.”

He described GOtv as ‘the first pay Digital Terrestrial Television’ to be launched that provided a broad range of content cutting across news, current affairs, general entertainment, documentary, music, sports and a host of other household channels.

The promotion, which started on the November 21, would run over the festive season into the New Year.

The first draw would be on 12th December and thereafter, in every two weeks until the final draw on the 28th February”.
