GRASAG members to get Ghc100.000 each to start a business

The Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) The Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG)

The Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) chapter of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with support of National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) have taken steps to address challenges of their members.

Every members of GRASAG-KNUST after training will be financially supported to enable them establish their own businesses with little support from the government

At least twenty postgraduates from the University after training will be given GHC 100, 000 each as a startup kit by the Association.

President of GRASAG-KNUST chapter, Mr. Abraham Poku-Adu announced the package to members of the Association during a launch dubbed "GRASAG/NEIP Entrepreneurship competition"

According to him, the Association is supporting member to start business of interest by the help of National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP)

"Association has received sponsorship from the government to enable members thrive in their businesses", Mr Abraham Poku-Adu stated

"GRASAG-KNUST received a sponsorship package of GHC 50, 000 from National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) and the Association also supported with GHC 50, 000", GRASAG-KNUST, revealed.

Head of the KNUST Entrepreneurship Committee, Francis Mintah Dadzie explains out of the number of students who applied and have gone through various stages will be given financial support.
