Ho, Dec. 4, GNA - Technology products exhibited by the Ghana Regional Appropriate Technology Industrial Service (GRATIS) Foundation stand at the Volta Region Trade, Investment and Culture Fair at Ho, continue to attract many visitors, especially players from the Small and Medium Enterprises. On display are an oil palm processing machine, machine for processing plant waste into animal feed, fruit juice extraction machine, among others. At least 20 orders had been placed for a smaller model of a 1,000 kilogrammes capacity fruit juice extraction machine as at the time the Ghana News Agency visited the Fair on Friday.
Mr Emmanuel Ampofo, Volta Regional Manager of the Foundation told the Ghana News Agency when he gave his impressions about the Fair. The main attraction at the stand was the fruit juice extraction machine from which many patrons were served with samples of chilled fruit juice. Mr Ampofo said the Foundation had the capacity to produce any machine on request. "You could come with your own idea of the machine you want and we would design and produce for you", he said. He said the patronage at this year's Fair has, however been lower. 4 Dec. 10
