GSE All-Share Index continues to rise

Accra, April 10, GNA - Gains by four equities on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on Monday pushed the GSE All-Share Index up by 0.67 points to close at 4,768.57 points from Friday's figure of 4,767.90 points.

The Change in the Year to date moved to - 0.01 per cent The four equities that made gains on the broader market were CAL Bank that opened the week trading richer with a five cedis gain to close at 1,941 cedis while Aluworks went up four cedis to end trading at 6,125 cedis.

Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) gained three cedis at 6,205 cedis with Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) also appreciating by two cedis to close at 8,569 cedis.

Total shares traded were 50,700 with CAL Bank selling 25,200 of them.

Market capitalisation went up to 91,947.57 billion cedis.
