Accra, March 30, GNA - The main index of the Accra Bourse made a rare gain this year in trading on Monday, gaining 8.51 points on the back of CAL Bank.
The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), closed the session at 9,247.17 points 9,238.66 points on Friday.
Change for the year to date now stands at -11.35 per cent. Market capitalisation began the week at GH¢18,041.20 million while traded volumes went to 873,200 shares.
On the broader market, there were two price changes, one up one down. CAL Bank gained GH¢0.04 at GH¢0.34 while Aluworks (ALW) lost GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.55.
