GSE All-Share index up in quiet trading

Accra, March 22, GNA - The GSE All-Share index, the benchmark measure, rose by 2.63 points to close at 5,070.53 points in active trading on Thursday from 5,067.90 during the previous trading. Shares that changed were 1,954,300 with CAL Bank Ghana Limited selling 1,909,200 out of them.

Change for the year inched up at 1.29 per cent. On the broader market, there were three price changes, all positive.

Cal Bank led the pack with 100 cedis gain to close at 2,200 cedis with Enterprise Insurance Company Limited and Total Petroleum Ghana Limited gaining a cedi each at 8,903 cedis and 54,252 cedis, respectively.

Market capitalization closed higher at 112,883.64 billion cedis from 112,867.89 billion cedis on Wednesday.
