GSE Index fell in dull market

Accra, Aug. 27, GNA - The GSE-All Share Index, the key market gauge, fell a whopping 50.06 points, brought down by a 2,100 cedi loss by Aluworks.

The index closed down 7,418.98 points from 7,469.04 points at the previous close.

Shares that changed hands were also lower at 168,200 as against 200,200 on Wednesday.

The change to date also dipped at 108.78 per cent from 110.19 per cent during the previous trading on Wednesday. On the broader market, Fan Milk Limited gained 150 cedis at 9,850 cedis; Aluworks lost 2,100 cedis to close down at 10,000 cedis and Produce Buying Company also fell 100 cedis at 3,500 cedis.
