GSE begins the week in negative territory

Accra, March 17, GNA - The Accra bourse GSE-All Share Index began the week in negative territory losing 3.25 points at the close of trading.

The index ended lower at 7,160.90 points from Friday's close of 7,164.15 points.

Change year to date now stands at 8.50 per cent. Traded volumes began the week at 135,800. There were four price changes - three up and one down. Ayrton Drug was the only loser going down by 0.02 GH cedis at 0.13 GH cedis.

Benso Oil Palm gained 0.01 GH cedis at 0.54 GH cedis, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was 0.01 GH cedis better at 1.45 GH cedis while PZ Cussons gained 0.01 GH cedis at 0.85 GH cedis. Market capitalisation opened the week at 13,525.66 million GH cedis.
