Accra, March 11, GNA - The Accra bourse GSE-All Share Index made a big jump on Tuesday but volumes that changed hands were down drastically.
The index went up by 69.02 points to close at 7,129.71 points from 7,060.69 points on Monday.
Change year to date now stands at 8.03 per cent. Traded volumes slumped at 67,500 from 2.7 million on Monday. There were nine price changes - all positive. Benso Oil Palm Plantation gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.52, SG-SSB gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢1.40, Ecobank Ghana Limited was GH¢ 0.03 better at GH¢2.52 Enterprise Insurance Company gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢ 1.78 and Ecobank Transnational Incorporated appreciated by GH¢ 0.02 at GH¢ 1.32.
Ghana Commercial Bank gained GH¢0.02 at GH¢1.18, Standard Chartered Bank was better by GH¢ 0.01 at GH¢ 26.67, Guinness Ghana Breweries was GH¢ 0.02 at GH¢1.41 and Unilever was better by GH¢0.01 at GH¢2.19.
Market capitalisation closed the session at GH¢13,506.10 million from GH¢ 13,462.89 million on Monday.
