GSE makes marginal gain

Accra, Aug. 10, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange made a marginal 0.2 points gain in trading on Wednesday, inching up the All-Share Index, the main market indicator to 4,851.91 points from 4,851.71 points on Tuesday.

Change for the year-to-date ended at -28.63 per cent. There were three price changes with all the equities gaining one cedi each.

SG-SSB gained one cedi at 7,806 cedis; Guinness Ghana Breweries gained one cedi at 6,006 cedis while CFAO was better by one cedi at 387 cedis.

Shares traded were down to 20,600 from 45,900 during the previous trading.

Market capitalisation was up at 92,028.22 billion cedis from 92,027.69 billion cedis from 3,383.22 million issued shares.
