Accra, April 11, GNA - Gains by Aluworks and Ghana Commercial Bank pushed the Ghana Stock Exchange All-Share Index up by 0.82 points to 4,769.39 from Monday's 4,768.57 points.

The Change in the Year to Date remained at 0.01 per cent. In the broader market, two equities advanced with one declining. Aluworks went up 76 cedis on the back of renewed investor interest with a closing price of 6,201 cedis.

Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) sustained its gains with a three cedi gain to close at 6,208 cedis. Starwin Product Limited (SPL) was the only loser, shedding off 20 cedis to end trading at 550 cedis. A bloc sale of 101,000 of Aluworks shares at Tuesday's trading pushed total shares traded to 126,100, more than a double of Monday's figure of 50,700 shares.

Market Capitalisation went up to 91,949.75 billion cedis from 91,947.57 billion cedis on Monday.
