GSE recovers with Aluworks gain

Accra, March 14, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange recovered slightly in trading on Monday, propped up by a 199-cedi gain by Aluworks. The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main stock index, closed 3.04 points better at 6,645.09 points from Friday's close of 6,642.05 points while change for the year improved to - 2.26 per cent.

There was only one price change, Aluworks' 199-cedi gain at 6,200 cedis.

Shares traded slumped to 38,400 from 728,900 on Friday. Market capitalization was up slightly at 97,196.94 billion cedis from 97,188.64 billion cedis.
