Ghana will host a 26-member German business delegation on an investment tour from May 27 to 30, this year.
A press release by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) said the delegation, led by Mrs. Buchman Bianca, Managing Director, Hospital Engineering GmbH, and President, Afarika - Verein eV., would hold discussions with government officials, business associations, and the Ghanaian-German Economic Association.
The delegation intends to use the tour to consolidate existing business relations with their Ghanaian counterparts and to deepen and enlarge commercial activities.
The delegation has expressed interest in construction, import and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables, agro-processing, engineering consultancy, water distribution, sewerage disposal and processing and information technology. The other areas are tourism, legal services, project financing, banking, transport and vehicles.
According to the release, the visit of the delegation has been facilitated by Mr. Christian Nakonz, Federal Republic of Germany Ambassador to Ghana, and Mr Christian Potyka, Director, German Business Relations (Ghana).
