Ghana Branding Summit slated for February 12

In an effort to educate Ghanaians on the importance of branding, Generic 7 Consult, would on Thursday 12, February 2015, organize its maiden edition of the Ghana Branding Summit in Accra.
The Summit to be held at the State House, would bring together experts in branding to educate people on the values of branding, for the Ghanaian as an individual and the nation as a whole.
Speaking at the launch on Friday, Mr Sylvester Phish, Chief Executive Officer, Generic 7 Consult, said his outfit would also organize conferences for Senior High School and university students on the importance of branding themselves as far as character was concerned.
He said Generic 7 would also organize series of fora in the coming months to sensitize Ghanaians on the need to brand themselves well for bigger opportunities in life.
He noted that the branding of one’s image played a very crucial role in life as based on that he or she would be judged by the society.
He appealed to those who have been selected as brand ambassadors for corporate organisations to endeavour to live exemplary lives since their attitudes automatically impacted on the brands they represented.
He intimated that a lot of companies had faded out of the system due to their inability to brand well to be able to stand the test of time and stiff competition.
