The Ghana Build International Trade exhibition fair will take place from 19th to 21st November 2018 to champion the development needs of the ‘Built Environment in Ghana’ by bringing together international manufacturing companies and investors from around the world.
Organised by a Freight Forwarding company, Esty Shipping Company Limited, in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy in Turkey, the exhibition aims at forging a closer collaboration among business partners and also boost infrastructural development in Ghana.
A statement by the organisers said the Exhibition would draw over hundred manufacturing companies and exhibitors from across Africa and Europe, notably Turkey, United Kingdom, South Africa, and Nigeria, among others.
“This is to bring closer collaboration and to strengthen partnership within the Business Community here in Ghana. This in our estimation will help to boost our infrastructural development,” the statement said.
“It has been observed that Infrastructure is critical to sustainable community development, our future well-being and the day-to-day lives of every individual. The infrastructure we are building today will shape tomorrow’s communities,” the statement added.
This year's Exhibition will witness over 108 Exhibitors from Turkey, South Africa, Nigeria and United Kingdom.
It is expected that over 5,000 visitors comprising investors, Business Community's, Diplomats, Contractors, Professionals in the Built Environment, High Powered Government Delegation, Manufacturers of Building Materials, Manufacturers of Heavy duty Mining and Construction Equipment will throng to the fair.
On display will be new Construction Methods, Innovations and Technologies for adaptation, using foreign expertise but local wisdom.
The three-day trade exhibition is geared towards fostering partnership and synergy between the Government of Ghana and the Government of Turkey through the Private Sector in the implementation of good policies and initiatives that inure to the benefit of the people of both countries.
The exhibition is under the auspices of the Trade Ministry, Ministry of Work and Housing as well as the Ghana Chamber of Commerce.
Dignitaries to grace the occasion are the Works and Housing Minister, Atta Akyea, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah, the President of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nana Dr. Appeagyei Dankawoso I, and Professor Nene Emmanuel Martey, Chairman of Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry.
Among the activities are Business to Business (B2B), Technical Seminar, Trade Exhibition, and Matchmaking sessions.
