Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, the largest network of young entrepreneurs last night bagged several awards at the maiden edition of the Young Entrepreneurs Awards held in Accra at the British Council on 30th November,2017.
These events and subsequent awards seek among other things to promote high professional standards within young entrepreneurs in corporate Ghana and to acknowledge excellence in business deliveries over the past year.
Out of the 14 categories, GCYE members took 7 of them plus one honorary award, bestowed to the CEO of the chamber Mr.Sherif Ghali.
This is the first time the Chamber members have won such massive awards.
With these Awards, The Chamber has clearly demonstrated its professional leadership in defining the business landscape amongst young people and supporting its members.
Mr. Sherif Ghali dedicated his award to the chamber and edges all members to take their businesses serious. He congratulated the awards winners and further advises them to pay their taxes to ensure the smooth running of the country’s economy.
“These awards are just signs to remind us that, there are a lot ahead of us. Let’s continue to stick to our call and forge ahead. Though things are not all too smooth for us as young entrepreneurs, I believe we shall find our way out. Is just a matter of time.” He observed.
Some personalities who were also awarded included ,Abeiku Santana, Martha Ankumah, Prince Sofo Siita of NTV, Bernard Oduro Takyi of CAYE-WA and many others.
