LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Ghana is currently reviewing proposals by several banks, competing to be mandated for the sovereign's debut Eurobond deal, a person familiar with the proceedings said Tuesday.
The initial bids by the banks to lead manage Ghana's bond issue were submitted Feb. 23 and presentations by the banks are going to be held March 9 in Ghana's capital, Accra.
"Week or two after that we should have the mandate announcement," the person said.
