Prymo Limited, an indigenous ICT company on Friday introduced the first ever Universal Scratch Card into the Ghanaian mobile phone market.
The pre-paid scratch cards dubbed ‘One 4 All’ is in the denomination of GH¢1.00, GH¢2.00, GH¢5.00, GH¢10.00 and GH¢20.00 and can be used for all the telecommunication networks with the exception of MTN.
Users of One4All card must dial *161* (the code 161 is unchangeable and applies to all networks hooked unto the One4All cards) and then enter the 13 digits PIN followed by # and then press the send or ok button and wait for recharge confirmation.
Speaking at the launch, Mr Abubakar Iss-Hak, Founder and Executive Director of Prymo Ghana, noted that the company seeks to provide convenient, cost effective world class communication products and services to Ghanaians.
“Prymo believes in innovation and is focused on providing simple smart solutions that would increase convenience, flexibility and new opportunities to all prepaid mobile phone subscribers in the country,” he said.
Mr Iss-Hak said users of One4All could take part in the promotion of their respective networks, adding one is charged according to one’s network rates and charges.
He appealed to people, who might encounter difficulties when recharging the One4All vouchers to call 161, which is a toll free number for assistance and enquires.
Mrs Patricia Dovi Sampson, Director, Research, Statistics and Information Management, Ministry of Communications, said the government had embarked on the construction of a 780km Eastern Corridor Optic Fibre Transmission Network, across some part of the country to bring connectivity to more than 120 rural communities.
She appealed to industrialists to help in creating jobs for the youth by looking out for various means of providing smart solutions in all sectors of the economy.
Mrs Dovi Sampson urged Prymo to pay particular attention to rules and regulations pertaining to telecommunications operations in the country.
Mr Kwaku Sakyi Addo, Executive Director, Ghana Telecom Chambers, praised Prymo Limited for the initiative and urged them to work for the betterment of
