Ghanaian businesses should be ready for partnership – Kojo Oppong Nkrumah

Deputy Minister for Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has called on private businesses in Ghana to leverage on the US Secretary of Commerce’s three (3) days visit to Ghana and be ready for partnership as it will be of great help to their businesses.

The US Secretary of Commerce which is reported to be in the country today, July 4, 2018, to Friday, July 6, 2018, is set to ensure the smooth partnership with the government and create jobs.

According to the Minister, Ghana is looking for diverse ways to enhance trading and help create jobs in the country, therefore private businesses should avail themselves for partnership.

“It’s a good initiative that we’re putting in place. Ghanaian businesses will have to position themselves for partnership. Energy, Health, Agriculture are the areas within which the MOUs will be signed. These are the areas of interest. Ghana is looking at going more into trade that will also help the country be one that will develop beyond aid.” He told Morning Starr’s Francis Abban on Starr FM.

He also added that, the Ghana Beyond Aid committee that was set up has already started work to ensure the smooth running of the system.
