Ghanaian hospitality company for top award

The Europe Business Assembly (EBA) has selected Orchid Hospitality Management Services (OHMS), based on its excellent business reputation, successful management and dynamic growth for a top European business award, ‘best enterprise’ award.

The EBA, a Ghanaian hospitality company, consisting of sociologists, made the selection based on the EBA Rate institutions research and recommendations of their partners in international image programme, "Leaders of the XXI century" as well as the results of national and international rates and media content analysis.

This was announced in a statement signed by Mrs. Rebecca Amoh, Chief Executive Officer of OHMS, copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), in Accra on Wednesday.

The statement said during the research, the EBA specialists took into account high quality of production and service, importance for region, positive customers’ opinion, social businesses responsibility and the implementation of new technologies.

It expressed delight that the company had been nominated among other international businesses around the world and dedicated the award to the staff of OHMS.

The purpose of the EBA is to define prominent companies with further promotion and assistance in entering EBA society, assist in the attraction of partners world-wide among EBA members due to EBA growing chain of subsidiaries and partners in 60 countries.

The EBA was established to support companies which meet all European standard requirements.

In November 2012, OHMS won international business quality award in London for achievements, prestige, quality improvement and innovation, said Mrs. Amoh. OHMS, currently manages the Ghana Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons, specializes in hospitality management and consultancy services.

Previous winners of the EBA prizes are world leading companies, including KRKA d.d. (Slovenia), International Marble Co. (Oman), Malaysia Smelting Corporation, Concern Farmakom (Serbia) and Bella Bulgaria.

Others are BMW Egypt, Aktif Bank (Turkey), ZAFCO/ZTI Tires Inc (USA), China Longyuan Power Group Co. Ltd, Sery Creative Communications (Austria), UTEL (Ukraine), Beshina (Republic Of Belarus) and Aluminum of Kazakhstan (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The rest include Aanjaneya Lifecare Ltd. (India), Union Tobacco & Cigarette Industries Company (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) and Moscow State Pedagogical University (Russian Federation).
