Ghanaian tech queen leaves Apple for Uber

Ms Bozoma Saint John has left tech giant Apple to join Uber.

Ms Saint John, who is one of Silicon Valley's top black female executives, was born in Ghana before moving to the United States as a teenager.

She worked as a marketing executive at Apple and has now joined Uber as the company’s new Chief Brand Officer.

Uber said they “couldn’t be more excited” to have Ms Saint John join them when they announced her arrival on Twitter.
