Goil rebranding yielding positive results

The Board Chairman of Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL), Prof. Asomaning, has revealed that rebranding the company last year is yielding positive results.

He made the disclosure when he opened the 168th and 169th GOIL service stations at Kaneshie and ACP-Pokuase respectively, in Accra on Wednesday 29th May, 2013.

“The GOIL rebranding has indeed yielded a positive result; our new look is modern and contemporary. I urge the management and staff of the stations to ensure what they serve their customers is accurate and good energy,” Prof. Asomaning added.

The Managing Director of GOIL, Mr. Patrick Akorli, also called on Ghanaians to patronise GOIL products because they are the best on the market; and also, being an indigenous company, their profit is retained in the country for development.

“We want to make GOIL a giant in the oil marketing industry; we want GOIL to remain an envy of the downstream side of the oil business in Ghana, so we need the support from Ghanaians to roll-out more of this beautiful edifices being commissioned today.

Last week, we commissioned similar service stations at Ogbodjo and Presec,” Mr. Akorli added.

Those present at the Kaneshie and ACP Pokuase events included Traditional rulers, opinion leaders, and assembly members of the areas; and District Police Commanders of Amasaman and Pokuase. Also present were Mr. Chris Ackumey and other board-members and management of GOIL.
