Golden Link Savings and Loans, one of the fastest growing financial institutions in the country, has marked its first-anniversary ceremony with a thanksgiving service at its head office at Tesano in Accra.

Managing Director of Golden Link Savings and Loans, Dr E. Owusu, commended staff and clients highly for the steady growth of the company.

He described the company’s feat of starting from the scratch to record 40 million by way of deposits in the last 12 months as remarkable and therefore urged his team to go the extra mile this year and in the future.

The MD pointed out that the feat notwithstanding, management has put measures in place to raise the 40 million deposits to 80 million by close of this year.

“As I keep saying, the relationship between us and our customers should always be healthy and cordial. We started with you-staff and customers and you have not let me down. Let’s continue in this same vein, and I believe we will meet our targets.

“The banking environment has changed, but we, at Golden Link, will uphold all the policies by Bank of Ghana (BoG), though it won’t be easy,” said Dr Owusu.

A ceremonial anniversary cake, befitting the occasion, was cut by the MD with support from other top management members and Apostle Albert Fiifi Orhin to the admiration of its many customers.

Apostle Orhin, who conducted the service, admonished staff to be diligent in their respective assignments to ensure success since their family’s lives are directly or indirectly linked to theirs.
