High-grade gold discovery in Ghana

RESULTS POINT TO HIGH-GRADE DISCOVERY IN GHANA MEDIA RELEASE 14 SEPTEMBER 2009

Gold explorer Noble Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: NMG "Noble") is pleased to announce that drilling at its Morrison project in Ghana has returned high-grade intersections which provide more evidence that the area contains a substantial body of mineralisation.

The latest drilling has extended the known strike length of mineralisation at Morrison by 100m. When combined with previous drilling by Anmercosa (Anglo American) and AXMIN Inc, the known mineralised trend at Morrison is now 850m along strike and remains open to the north and at depth.

The northern-most reverse circulation hole drilled at Morrison Prospect in its latest program returned 4m at 16.91 grams per tonne gold from just 11m, including 1m at 62.19gpt. This hole also intersected 1m at 3.64gpt. Other results included 2m at 1.63gpt from 81m and 1m at 3.19gpt from 15m. A full list of significant intersections can be found in Appendix 1.

Morrison is located within Noble's Cape Three Points licence, which sits on the world-class Ashanti Gold Belt in south-east Ghana.

A review of the latest exploration by independent consultants SEMS Exploration concluded that Morrison consisted of three parallel structures with promising widths and grades.

"The Morrison drilling program has identified high-grade gold mineralisation over narrow widths at the northern end of the drill grid," SEMS Exploration found. "This mineralisation remains open to the north and at depth."

Noble managing director Wayne Norris said the Company would resume drilling at Morrison when the wet season was finished, which would probably be in early October. The drilling would test extensions to the north and down dip.

"The drilling results and the SEMS report suggest that Morrison could emerge as a substantial high- grade discovery," Mr Norris said. "The fact that it remains open along strike and at depth, and that some of the best results have come from the northern-most end of the drilling also shows that there is immense potential to extend the zone of known mineralisation."

Noble, which floated on the ASX in mid-2008, has a strong cornerstone investor in Global Gold Holdings, which has a 25.29 per cent stake in the company.
