I changed GNPC, NPA into high-performing organizations – Mould

Former CEO of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Mr Alex Mould has said he managed the institutions that he headed which include the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and the GNPC well.

To that end, he said, he will be able to deliver as Vice president if eventually he is selected as the running mate to former President John Dramani Mahama ahead of this year’s.

In an interview with Evans Mensah on JoyNews‘ PM Express May 18, Alex Mould explained that: “my pedigree shows that I have managed organisations successfully… If you're talking about the economy, of course, I can deliver. If you’re talking about energy, I can deliver. If you are talking about any area whether it's trade, industry, I can deliver.”

He added : “NPA was a more bureaucratic organization and I changed it into a high performing organization. I went to GNPC and did the same.”

Regarding his possible selection as the running mate to Mr Mahama, he said : “I think there is a process that goes into it.

“The flagbearer has to work with the Functional Executives of the party in consultation with the elders and come up with a criteria.

“If they call me and nominate me and I pass the criteria, I definitely will accept it.”
