Robert Kiyosaki’s once said- “In order to build a business, you have to be able to sell for Sales = Income. When income is lacking, it’s usually because the owner doesn’t like to, doesn’t know how to, or is simply reluctant to sell. Without sales, however, you have no income.”

Yes without sales, you have no Income. We adore the salespeople and everything they had been doing, plus they had continuously appealed to the masses despite their down moments a great salesperson was able to close the deal.

Our profile today will delve deep into the life of a man who had employed the ancient tactics of trades and salesmanship to build an empire and to help curb poverty in society. Today, we seek to find out from a man who decided to be a Salesman at age 11.

None other than the Sales-mogul: Frank Nii Okanta Ankrah CEO, of NiiOkanta Services Co. Ltd.

Born to a family of salespeople, his father was a sole distributor to the SC Johnson group in Ghana. And it can be mentioned that he gained the talent from his dad.

At age 11, Frank made his first sale of Raid Mosquito repellent and Spray from a 3 dozen stock he purchased to resell after school, the same day he made his first (Old Ghana Cedis) Gh¢ 250,000 (Gh¢ 25) at the time holding such amount means you are the richest person of your peers and to hold such an amount makes him the richest kid of his day.

Frank was determined not to be just like his dad but to go beyond and take on further challenges which will then grow his zeal to conquer the world as the world’s biggest salesperson. He was very much able to capture the eyes of many through his determination and how good he could actually sell.

“I grew up in the house of great salespeople, we mostly spoke about what you were able to sell in the day. We did encourage each other on how much each person could make if he went further on to try new ways of sales”. He said. Nothing comes easy, so they said, there are days a salesperson could end up falling flat on his face with nothing to show, neither will his wares be bought and those are the days of which you ask if you are actually doing what is right or should you just abandon what you are doing and move on and hope for the best. Well, that is just that, Frank was actually down this road and it was a difficult moment, he said;

“I had to abandon a whole pack of wares I bought to resell just because there was no market for the said product, and yes this same product went down to sit beneath his Bed”.

“I will live this day as if it is my last. …I will waste not a moment mourning yesterday’s misfortunes, Yesterday’s defeats, yesterday’s aches of the heart, for why should I throw good after bad?”

I will live this day as if it is my last. This day is all I have and these hours are now my eternity. I greet this sunrise with cries of joy as a prisoner who is reprieved from death. I lift my arms with thanks for this priceless gift of a new day. So too, I will beat upon my heart with gratitude as I consider all who greeted yesterday’s sunrise who are no longer with the living today. I am indeed a fortunate man and today’s hours are but a bonus, undeserved. Why have I been allowed to live this extra day when others, far better than I, have departed? Is it that they have accomplished their purpose while mine is yet to be achieved? Is this another opportunity for me to become the man I know I can be?”

And he took his tools and went back to work.

Frank, now a little grown man was introduced to the Network Marketing Trade Module. In the year 2005, the module was so new to many but with his great background in being a sales fellow, he needed not much to become successful.

One major lesson I learned in this new field was how to cope and interpret the word “NO.” Now if you asked for how I felt when the word was first mentioned to me, well I can say that day I was just teary and wanted to quit, but something within which burns so bad kept me going.

Now, the word NO actually means “Next Option” to me, this had rather been my motivation and I really did get my highest single day paycheck from the network marketing module. Network Marketing had helped me not just in finances but it had taught me three (3) important lessons 1. Perseverance, 2. Holding a Positive mindset, and 3. Patience. I do recommend this to anyone who wishes to be a salesperson just like I am.

One major setback in my life was when a friend, I so trusted played and let me down, yet as a fighter, I did survive.

“Obstacles are necessary for success because in selling, as in all careers of importance, victory comes only after many struggles and countless defeats. Yet each struggle, each defeat, sharpens your skills and strengths, your courage and your endurance, your ability and your confidence and thus each obstacle is a comrade-in-arms forcing you to become better… or quit. Each rebuff is an opportunity to move forward; turn away from them, avoid them, and you throw away your future.”

With super determination and much zeal, I made a great comeback and I was better than who I was in the days past. He said with a smile.

Cryptocurrency

With my usual adventurous self, I learnt about the Cryptocurrency Blockchain technology and this was the moment that my life changed for the better.

“The act of a good salesman is to learn about what others doubt and find potentials in things that are not worthy”.

When I discovered cryptocurrency, as a matter of fact, it was worth nothing. I only heard a scanty story of how people had begun using the technology to send and receive funds on the internet without the interference of the central bank or the government.

At the same time, I heard of the same technology been used for Ponzi Schemes and several other activities like the Money Laundering and that alone scared me to the core. I for a long while backed down and from delving into the use of the technology until I met Nawaf Abd who taught me what the tech really was and how it will change the world one day and then I made the move to read more and not just believe his words.

Then I took the step further and bought my own share of bitcoin. And really did pay off.

This time was the first in 3 different sections of my life that I earned a huge sum of money, I became a Millionaire thanks to Blockchain and Cryptocurrency.

I first made 250,000 now Ghc 25.00, and then a $45,000 and now I made over a Million USD. Yes, I made that much in no time thanks to my great salesperson skills. I also found out it had some other great potentials as most cryptocurrencies are actually a tradeable commodity, I got so much involved and I did learn my way to riches trading Cryptos.

Many around Mr Okanta are not just pushed to the brink so they can find their inner-self and find ways to better their lives.

His life is determined by several factors, His determination to overcome fear, his commitment to self-growth and self-belief.

He has grown to become a Motivator and an Inspiration to many.
