Kumasi to host second Cheki Auto fair

The Marketing Manager of Cheki Ghana, Felicia Mensah has disclosed that the second Auto fair which presents garage owners the opportunity to display their cars to prospective buyers is fixed for the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The event scheduled for September 29- October 3 is expected to attract investors, car dealers and customers across the country.

The first ever event which ended over the weekend at the Accra Polo Club saw about 1000 customers the opportunity to view the latest technological advancements and antiques in automobile and also be able to communicate directly with the sellers.

It drew participation from automobile dealers including Erata Motors, Rana Motors, GAT, M.G, M.A.C, Japan Motors, COMAC Car Parts, and Progressive Motors where they displayed new cars, Classic Cars, Transport Vehicles, Spare Parts and Accessories to customers.

Though the maiden edition was successful, Ms Mensah told the Ghana News Agency that ‘‘our next auto event will be in Kumasi and we hope the second event will be a blast.

“The Accra event was successful but it wasn’t to our expectation so we hope the second event in Kumasi, the turnout will outnumber the first one. This will be an annual event and we hope to introduce it to the other Regions.

“From Kumasi, we will hope to achieve our target and continue to Takoradi and Tamale by close of the year. We will include various contests and competitions, thereby promising a good fun time to the attendees and it will enable exhibitors to exhibit their products straight to hundreds of potential buyers.”

The event expected to give buyers and sellers the platform to transact business and also to showcase other products and services and establish new business relations that will help in future business expansion.
