Ghanaian based conglomerate LC Empire State International has increased its portfolio in the gold mining business with the acquisition of a Bechicam mine.
Every company has a core mandate of expanding its territory. However, LC Empire State International announced and confirmed the acquisition of Bechiman Mine on 13th of January 2020.
The Chief Executive Officer of LC Empire State Int. Mr Aikins Oduro Twumasi disclosed in his speech that his company is aggressively planning to expand rapidly in the next five (5) years in the mining industry through similar acquisitions and mergers.
He again added that LC Empire State Int. is geared towards building a global brand to rock shoulders with the likes of Newmont, AngloGold.
Mr Aikins Oduro Twumasi again debunked rumors that LC Empire State would be acquired by Newmont and that his company is focused on growing that company into a strong multinational respectable Ghanaian company.
Bechicam mining which is now owned by LC Empire State Int. owns controlling stakes in 8 mines which are located in Ghana and Burkina Faso.
Moreover, Ghana which is the second largest gold producer in Africa is aiming to take the first place amid south Africa.
