Liberty capital partners Ghana startup cup

Liberty Capital Holdings Ghana Limited (LCHGL) has been announced the Title Sponsor for the maiden edition of the Ghana StartUp Cup Business Model Competition on August 1, 2013.

StartUp Cup is a global network of business model competitions designed to provide community-based long-term support to participating local entrepreneurs during their early growth phase. This proven model to build businesses and create jobs can be replicated in any community.

The Director for Corporate Finance at Liberty Capital Holdings Ghana Limited, Mr. Francis Appiah said, they are proud to support Ghana StartUp Cup business model competition in its efforts to arm entrepreneurs with skills necessary to develop viable and successful businesses in Ghana. Mr. Nyame said, the competitive process educates entrepreneurs on how to design a viable business model, develop customers, and accelerate their start-up into the marketplace through a comprehensive judging, coaching, and mentoring process.

Since 2007 according to Mr. Nyame, StartUp Cup business model competition has contributed hugely to the successes of StartUps Globally and Ghana is not exempted from the over 40 countries worldwide to contribute to this development. StartUp Cup is a Featured Event of Global Entrepreneurship Week and an Official Partner of the U.S. Department of State’s Global Entrepreneurship Program.
