Equipped with ultra-modern teaching and learning facilities, Mac-Dic Royal Hospitality Academy, affiliated to Mac-Dic Royal Plaza Hotel, the first practical hotel school in Ghana accredited by Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET) has opened for Admissions for 2018 start.

The Academy, situated in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana, on the same compound with the luxurious Mac-Dic Royal Plaza Hotel offers the following training; Front Office, Accommodation, Food & Beverage, House Keeping, Catering, Hospitality Management, Safety and First Aid.

The institution’s affiliation to the posh Mac-Dic Royal Plaza Hotel allows students to have their hands on the job while under training.

With some of the Hospitality Industry’s best tutors in charge of teaching, the Academy does not only serve as the perfect institution to acquire globally recognizable certificates which can be used to work in the Hospitality Industry anywhere in the world, it also provides students with extensive work experience while on any of its courses at the Mac-Dic Royal Plaza Hotel—an extra benefit to all students.

The Academy is currently enrolling students for 2018 start—with the entry requirement being JHS/SHS qualifications. There are also special relaxed requirements for mature students who have adequate experience within the Hospitality Industry.

The Academy runs both short and long term courses and it’s therefore well placed to serve the needs of those who want to fully train in the Hospitality Industry as well as those who want to take up short courses to boost employability, knowledge or acquire promotion.
