Maiden FOA Fiber Optics course now being offered in Ghana, highlights the growing sector

Fiber Optics monumental breakthrough was invented by Ghanaian Inventor, Dr. Thomas Mensah, which assisted tech giants such as Google and Facebook in setting up their operations.

It is therefore no surprise that Fiber Optics is rapidly growing across the country as companies across private and publics sectors are leveraging the technology to experience fast lighting data transfer.

Recently, the consulting firm, Nordic Alliance, facilitated its first specialized Fiber Optics course with their trusted partners from Scandinavia, who have more than 15 years of international experience with Fiber Optic training and is approved by the International Fiber Optic Association as certified trainers.

The participants from the course gained practical knowledge and skills which allows them to work with fiber optic cabling for high speed data transfer. You will be able to terminate and splice fiber optic cables, install fiber to the home (FTTH) as well as troubleshoot and document fiber systems within industry specifications.

With the maiden Fiber Optics course being a huge success, by popular demand Nordic Alliance is organizing another comprehensive program.

Course Details

The course which starts on November 19th to December 7th of 2018 at the Airport Residential goes for $2800 as fees.

Program structure

The Fiber Optic Training Course covers both theoretical and practical training, which will cover some of the following subjects including Specialized Fiber theory, FTTH, ODTR, OLTS, LAN installations, Splicing, Patching, Faultfinding, Budget calculations
