Majority of jobs will soon be lost to automation - World Bank President

President of the World Bank, Jim Yong Kim has urged countries around the world to think of how they are going to compete in the future economy as two-thirds of jobs could be lost to automation very soon.

Addressing a press conference in Washington DC, Mr Kim said contrary to people’s perception that trade is the cause of the lose of jobs in countries like America, the World Trade Organisation is confident that only 20% of jobs are lost to trade with the majority being lost to automation.
