Mantrac Ghana to launch power system campaign

Mantrac Ghana, the caterpillar authorized dealer in collaboration with Stanbic bank would launch a three- month power system campaign offer on their flagship product CAT Power Generator (CPG).

A statement signed by Mr Walid Fakhry, Power Systems Manager, Mantrac Ghana, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday said the campaign designed for the diesel generator is meant to ease the rampant power, outage popularly called “dumsor”, affecting homes, schools, factories, businesses and other entities.

“Ghana is currently experiencing power fluctuation due to challenges with capacity from the national grid and lack of enough gas to power private power producers.

“Mining companies have been compelled to shed over 30 per cent of their normal consumption to keep the total nation going and this campaign guaranteed with the lowest interest rate in the market is going to save us,” it said.

The statement said there would be a 20 per cent down payment for customers who would own the exclusive CPG as well as a 36 months installment as low as GH? 1,280.00 per month.

“Four years extended warranty limited to 5000 hours per year and a free labour for first service for any kVA,” it said.

The statement noted that all these incentives would come with terms and conditions and urged the public to rely on CPG “and say no to dumsor”.

“This and many more underscores the urgent need to roll out a promotional package that will drive sales for the period as well as build credible pipeline and pending deals to support the sales team,” it added.
