Mantrac, Stanbic Bank to support power sector

Mantrac Ghana, authorised dealer of Caterpillar products and services -- in partnership with Stanbic Bank, has launched a sales promotion dubbed “no more dumsor…rely on cat power” to give customers the opportunity to own Cat Power generating sets.

This comes at a time when the nation and business community are struggling for adequate power supply to keep the wheels of industries running.

Mantrac Ghana also recently signed a 2000kVA x 4 diesel power generator deal with Persus Mining to boost on-site power generating capacity at its Edikan Gold Mine. Head of Marketing and Strategic Planning, Daniel Pabby, acknowledged the rising demand for standby power to support industry against the current shortfall in power supply from the national grid.

“Our economy will see less improvement if we lack adequate power supply in business operations; revenue will be lost and business will come to a standstill. That is why Mantrac Ghana, apart from its leadership position in the supply of construction and mining equipment, is also making huge inroads in providing affordable and quality power generating sets to support business operations.

“This campaign is designed with the customers in mind, giving them the best opportunity to own the exclusive, reliable and durable Cat generating sets which are proven in thousands of applications worldwide. That is why we have partnered the local representative of Caterpillar Financial service -- Stanbic Bank Ghana -- to offer hassle free and customised financial packages for customers during this period,” he added.

Mr. Pabby noted that Mantrac Ghana is offering customers 20 percent down-payment and up to 36 months installment plans at a subsidised interest rate from Stanbic Bank Ghana.

“Additionally, we are giving four years extended warranty or 500 hours per year, which is unbelievable. Apart from this offer, customers are assured of 24/7 after-sales service and a customised equipment solutions package for every unit sold.”

Head of Stanbic Bank’s Assets Finance, Wisdom Tawiah, noted: “Our partnership with Mantrac Ghana keeps growing by the day, and it’s mainly influenced by the reliability and durability of Cat products; Stanbic Bank is proud to offer a financial package to support its customers own Caterpillar power generating sets with ease”.
