MILLICOM (Ghana) Limited (Mobitel), the first cellular phone company to operate in Ghana, has introduced yet another innovative value added service , namely ?Balance Enquiry by Text (SMS)? to its fast growing number of GSM subscribers.

In addition to its large analogue subscriber base, Mobitel has within two months of its launch of a Digital GSM network managed to hit a very high new subscriber mark.
