NIB moves into permanent premises in Takoradi

Takoradi April 5, GNA- The Takoradi branch of the National Investment Bank (NIB) on Monday moved into a newly built three-storey office premises.

Mr Jeremiah Baidoo, Branch Manager, who made this known during an interaction with journalists, said the bank had been operating in rented premises since 1972.

He said the branch was strengthening its marketing strategies to attract more customers from both the formal and informal sectors. Mr Baidoo said the NIB was established essentially as a development bank in 1963 and was primarily interested in financing medium and long-term projects.

He said the bank introduced commercial banking services in 1975, adding, "The NIB is now interested in industry, big businesses and retailers."
