NPP has borrowed US3bn in first 100 days - Minority

Ranking Member of the Finance Committee of Parliament, Ato Forson has disclosed that the ruling government has borrowed in excess of US$3.0billion in its first 100 days in government.

“In less than 100 days of being in office, the NPP has exceeded this notorious feat and deception again.NPP now holds another new record in our history as the party that has borrowed almost over three billion United States Dollars(US$3.0billion) within its 100 days in office.

This is equivalent to about 13.5billion in 100 days(average Ghc135 million a day) or in other words, every Ghanaian owes additional just in 100 days of NPP Ghc500.” Ato Forson told the press during a minority conference.
