The Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) officially unveiled its latest showroom, marking a significant milestone in the jewelry industry. This represents a bold commitment to enhancing the lives of Ghanaians through the promotion of gold ownership and value addition.

The event commenced with an appreciation segment led by Madam Josephine Agyekum-Wallace, PMMC’s Deputy Managing Director in charge of Administration. She took a moment to acknowledge the tireless efforts of her team. “This achievement is a testament to teamwork,” she remarked, highlighting the contributions of her colleagues, including DMD Mr. Derick Akohene and General Manager of PMMC Jewellery Limited (PJL) Mr. Daniel Bugyei, who played pivotal roles in the showroom’s development.

Nana Akwasi Awuah, Managing Director of PMMC, articulated the company’s vision of bringing value addition right to the doorsteps of every Ghanaian. “Since 2017, the government has promised to enhance the mineral sector, and we are here to fulfill that promise,” he stated. This sentiment resonated with many attendees, who appreciated the emphasis on local empowerment and economic growth.

One of the standout features of the new showroom is its investment in cutting-edge technology. The incorporation of 3D modeling and laser printing machines allows customers to create bespoke jewelry tailored to their personal preferences. Madam Agyekum-Wallace passionately explained, “If you can dream it, we can design and manufacture it.” This innovative approach not only attracts customers looking for unique pieces but also positions PMMC/PJL as a leader in the industry.

During the tour of the newly opened showroom, Madam Josephine emphasized PMMC/PJL’s commitment to making gold jewelry accessible. “We want every family to own gold jewelry, similar to cultures in other countries,” she shared. With prices starting as low as 1,000 Cedis, the showroom caters to a wide range of customers, encouraging a culture of gold ownership.

The introduction of layaway options further exemplifies PMMC/PJL’s dedication to affordability. Customers can now pay for their jewellery in manageable installments over three months, making high-quality items within reach of more individuals.

A significant highlight of the event was the introduction of PJL’s corporate sales initiatives. The DMD detailed how organizations can collaborate with PMMC to offer their employees the opportunity to purchase jewellery through salary deductions. “We know that time is precious, especially in today’s busy world,” she explained. By bringing the showroom experience directly to workplaces, PMMC/PJL is not only enhancing accessibility but also fostering employee engagement and appreciation.

The showroom features an exclusive executive lounge designed for VVIP customers, offering a personalized shopping experience. Attendees were impressed by the attention to detail, with refreshments and comfortable seating provided for guests. This luxurious touch is indicative of PMMC/PJL’s commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring that every visit feels special.
