Possible disruption of Air traffic services to KIA

The public is informed of a possible disruption of air traffic services to the Kotoka International Airport in Accra starting from February 19, 2016 until further notice.

A statement issued and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Tuesday by the Ghana Air Traffic Controllers Association, Ghana Air Traffic Safety Electronics Association and the other stakeholders said, the situation is due to the misunderstanding between the Ghana Airport Company limited and the Air Navigation wing of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority of which no fruitful solution has been found to resolve the issue.

The statement said, however, enroute aircrafts overflying the Accra information region shall not be affected and will continue to enjoy the excellent air traffic services.

The statement said the inconvenience caused by this communication is regretted.
